The idea for Trails of History began with a deep passion for history and a desire to share it in a meaningful way. Growing up fascinated by stories of courage, resilience, and sacrifice, we were always drawn to the places where those stories unfolded. After years of personal research, visiting battlefields, and connecting with others who shared the same passion, we realized there was an opportunity to help more people experience that powerful connection to the past.
Originally, we started with SandervkTours, focusing mainly on private battlefield tours. Things took an unexpected turn when we began developing a new company in partnership with a individual. We put SandervkTours on hold and spent two months building a completely new brand from the ground up. Just as the foundation was finished, the individual cancelled the partnership leaving us with a nearly complete company and no clear direction.
Instead of letting that work go to waste, we saw it as a chance to evolve. We decided to rebrand and reshape everything we had built and that’s how Trails of History was born.
With this new chapter, we expanded far beyond what SandervkTours once offered. Alongside private tours, we now provide ticketed group tours, personalized family research, and a growing YouTube channel and podcast all dedicated to bringing history to life and connecting people to the stories that shaped our world.
Today, Trails of History stands for more than just guided tours. It’s about honoring the past, sharing knowledge, and creating experiences that let you truly walk the trails of history.
